Social Media Content Creator

About the role

Arkan Marketing, a fast‑growing digital marketing agency in Doha, is looking for a full‑time Social Media Content Creator. You will produce short‑form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts and paid advertising, turning brand ideas into engaging visual stories.

Key responsibilities

• Create short‑form videos for organic social media and paid campaigns.
• Develop fresh content concepts aligned with each client’s brand and marketing goals.
• Plan and execute shoots at the office or client locations, filming with a smartphone or professional camera.
• Appear on‑camera when required and produce product showcases, unboxing, styling, interview, behind‑the‑scenes and trend‑based videos.
• Edit videos using CapCut or similar software, adding hooks, captions, subtitles, transitions, sound effects and clear storytelling.
• Adapt current social‑media trends to fit each client’s identity and create multiple formats for different channels.
• Collaborate with social, creative, design and performance‑advertising teams, follow content calendars and meet deadlines.
• Review performance metrics and use insights to improve future content.
• Organise raw footage, project files and final assets, managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Creator, Videographer or Video Editor.
• Strong portfolio or social‑media account showcasing high‑quality short‑form videos.
• Confidence both behind and in front of the camera.
• Solid understanding of lighting, framing, composition, storytelling and pacing.
• Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts and current social‑media trends.

Required skills

• CapCut or comparable video‑editing software.
• Smartphone videography.
• Professional‑camera videography.
• Video editing techniques (hooks, captions, transitions, sound design).
