Software Engineer - New Grad

About the role

Scale is looking for a motivated new‑graduate software engineer to join its rapidly growing Global Public Sector team. You will own customer‑facing features from day one, ship production‑ready products, and work directly with users to iterate quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack web applications that integrate with internal APIs and services.
• Build data pipelines for reinforcement learning and post‑training model development.
• Develop evaluation infrastructure to measure model reliability for enterprise and public‑sector customers.
• Ship agentic AI applications and tooling that ensure observability, testability, and safety.
• Create UI/UX tools for thousands of contributors handling billions of tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver AI infrastructure products and customer‑service solutions.

Required profile

• Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Product engineering experience, including building full‑stack web apps and integrating APIs.
• Previous software engineering internship(s) with a proven record of shipping high‑quality features at scale.
• Experience building systems that process large volumes of data.
