Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is looking for a Spa Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa. The role delivers exceptional service by welcoming guests, managing appointments, coordinating spa operations and ensuring a seamless luxury experience that reflects The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and Marriott International service culture.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a personalized, professional spa experience.
• Handle spa reservations, appointments and guest inquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Explain treatments, facilities, packages and promotional offers to guests.
• Check guests in and out efficiently, process payments accurately and handle cash tips.
• Maintain guest records and keep personal information confidential.
• Schedule individual and group appointments using the spa/salon reservation software, call guests to confirm services and update the reservations list during the day.
• Promote and upsell spa services, memberships, retail products and special packages.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized to luxury standards and address guest concerns promptly.
• Support daily spa operations, inventory control and administrative tasks, and report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness center or customer service environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa reservation systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Guest-focused service, attention to detail, teamwork, problem-solving and sales and upselling ability.
