Specialist - Internal Audit

About the role

The Specialist – Internal Audit will execute AAM’s risk‑based internal audit strategy, performing financial, operational and compliance audits across automotive operations. The role also includes ad‑hoc reviews and other professional audit tasks assigned by the IA leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits in line with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards, ensuring high‑quality deliverables on time and within budget.
• Complete all internal audit engagements for the year as defined in the IA strategy and perform special ad‑hoc reviews.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers, memos and administrative records according to IIA Working Paper Standards.
• Identify inefficient practices, analyse root causes and develop actionable recommendations.
• Lead audits and compliance reviews of automotive technical processes, visiting sites to assess service quality, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Utilise audit and automotive systems such as SAP, Power BI, TeamMate+ and TMC Oasis to support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• 6–8 years of automotive experience with Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Toyota Philippines or other TMC entities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Knowledge of TeamMate+ audit software.
• Familiarity with TMC Oasis platform.
