Strategic Finance Specialist

About the role

Snoonu, Qatar’s home‑grown Super App, is looking for a Strategic Finance Specialist to join its core decision‑making team. You will turn complex, often messy data into clear, actionable strategies that guide commercial, operational and expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance financial models for budgeting, reforecasting and scenario planning across multiple markets and business lines.
• Support valuation exercises and business case analyses for new initiatives, investments and strategic projects.
• Analyse unit economics such as order economics, contribution margin and cost per order to identify profitability drivers and risks.
• Transform large, incomplete datasets into clear insights for leadership and prepare board‑level presentations with data visualisation and variance analysis.
• Own recurring reporting deliverables, including KPI trackers, dashboards and performance packs, ensuring high accuracy.
• Partner with commercial, operations and expansion teams to understand performance drivers and provide data‑driven decision support.
• Conduct ad‑hoc strategic analyses for market entry, pricing and investment evaluation.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in FP&A, business finance or strategic finance within a fast‑moving consumer, tech or marketplace environment.
• Proven ability to build complex, formula‑driven financial models from scratch.
• Comfort working with vague or incomplete data and presenting a defensible narrative.
• High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
