Strategy & Transactions Manager – Financial Services (Doha)

About the role

We are seeking a Manager (or Senior Manager) to join EY’s Strategy & Transactions practice, focusing on the Financial Services sector in Doha. The role will support banking, insurance and asset‑management clients through strategic analysis, valuation and transaction execution, helping them define objectives and create value.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct strategic analysis and feasibility studies for Financial Services clients, covering banking, insurance and wealth & asset management.
• Develop and review valuation models, market sizing, business plans and operating models.
• Prepare deliverables such as Excel data books, written reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Advise clients on strategic planning, value creation, capital allocation, cost optimisation and portfolio optimisation.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell EY services and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business.
• 7‑12 years of experience in business valuation, financial modelling and strategic consulting within the Financial Services sector.
• Strong understanding of financial institutions’ balance‑sheet structures and IFRS fair‑value standards.
• Proven ability to work with senior client stakeholders and deliver high‑quality insights.
