Systems Administration Consultant – IT Operations (Systems Team)

About the role

The Systems Administration Consultant will join the IT Operations Section, acting as a Tier 2 escalation point for Identity, Messaging, Collaboration, Remote Access, Device‑management and Endpoint Security services. You will diagnose complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, implement durable fixes and coach frontline staff to improve first‑contact resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and troubleshoot Active Directory GPOs, DNS records, DHCP reservations and certificates.
• Resolve synchronization issues in Entra ID or FIM and failed deployments from Configuration Manager.
• Manage DAT/engine updates via ePO, maintain DLP policies and whitelist new requirements.
• Investigate mail‑flow anomalies with Message Trace and troubleshoot Teams/Webex meeting‑join or media‑quality issues using CQD and Call Analytics.
• Validate OneDrive data in Preservation Hold Library, isolate Citrix session failures, and respond to RDP incidents.
• Coordinate patch management for all Windows systems and act as incident/request queue manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of enterprise Windows systems administration experience, including at least 2 years handling Tier 2/3 escalations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and spoken English.

• Active Directory, Hybrid Entra ID, DNS/DHCP administration.
• Intune, System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and ePO.
• Exchange Online, Teams, Webex, OneDrive architecture knowledge.
• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (Studio, Director, Workspace) and Windows RDS.
• Trellix ENS/DLP/Application Whitelisting.
• PowerShell scripting (functions, modules, REST/Graph calls).
• Virtualization technologies.
