Systems Engineer – SecOps

About the role

Fortinet is looking for a Systems Engineer – SecOps to join its Qatar team. You will act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, translating customer requirements into Fortinet solutions that protect against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales process, from RFIs to RFPs/RFQs.
• Manage project timelines and actively participate in proof‑of‑concepts with internal and customer teams.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners.
• Continuously deepen knowledge of Fortinet products and the competitive landscape.
• Present solutions through white‑boarding, technical white papers, and detailed plans.
• Maintain accurate activity and technical data in Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude for security technologies across network, endpoint and application layers.
• Preferably holds CISSP accreditation.
• Previous experience in a pre‑sales engineering role, managing end‑to‑end technical deals.
• Proven problem‑solving ability that contributed to key wins.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
