Technical Manager

About the role

The Technical Manager bridges client, design, fabrication and installation teams for our marble business, ensuring projects flow smoothly from estimation to final installation. This role combines office management with deep knowledge of natural stone production, CAD drawing, and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Drafting/Estimating team to produce shop drawings, CAD designs, and technical specifications for marble cutting and CNC machining.
• Track project timelines from field templating to site installation, keeping all departments on schedule.
• Review technical drawings against client requirements and resolve discrepancies between architects, designers, and the fabrication shop.
• Oversee material purchasing, inventory of stone slabs and blocks, and maintain an updated price list.
• Develop and implement streamlined office workflows, manage budgets, process invoices, and handle job costing.
• Supervise administrative staff, assist HR with onboarding, and maintain tender and estimation logs.

Required profile

• Strong office management and coordination abilities.
• Deep understanding of natural stone production processes and CNC machining.
• Proficiency in CAD design and technical drawing preparation.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
