Technical Team Lead

About the role

Avanceon is looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead to head a development team in its Qatar office. You will drive the design, development and delivery of enterprise software solutions across Industrial Automation, Smart City, GIS and Digital Transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate tasks for a team of developers, ensuring sprint goals are met.
• Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming and release planning.
• Design, develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET, ReactJS, REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Enforce coding standards, conduct technical and code reviews, and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive Agile and Scrum practices, manage sprint activities and track work in JIRA.
• Coordinate with GIS, SCADA, BI, database and client integration teams.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to improve coding, testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET, ReactJS, REST API development and SQL Server.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA and GitHub.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
