Transport Duty Supervisor – Talent Pool

About the role

Transport Duty Supervisor is responsible for managing maintenance activities of the QACC fleet, training drivers and loading assistants, ensuring ramp safety, handling voyage report investigations, staff rostering, overtime and vacation planning, and deputising for the Duty Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff, operational functions, meal/product uplifts, On‑Time Performance (OTP) and act as Customer Liaison to ensure high‑standard service.
• Supervise delivery to Complex, Ultra‑Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and ad‑hoc operations, ensuring safe and on‑time execution.
• Monitor compliance with Ramp Safety, Security and Marshalling procedures for High Loaders during airside duties.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, security procedures and agreed customer standards.
• Coordinate action plans and resolutions for operational emergencies, manpower requirements, aircraft changes or technical issues.
• Lead Customer Service Agents, Loading Assistants and Equipment Operators to load/offload flights according to schedule and procedures.
• Provide prompt information to superiors for incidents requiring immediate action.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational/Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of staff rostering/allocations and basic food safety and manual handling.
• Computer literate with thorough knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience in driver training, vehicle maintenance and fleet management.
• Hold a HGV Driving Licence.
