Treasury Manager – Debt Management

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Manager – Debt Management to join our finance team in Al Daayen, Qatar. Reporting to the Treasury Director, you will support the organization’s debt and equity financing strategy, liquidity risk management and cash‑flow forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group banking relationships for debt and equity funding in line with policies.
• Assess and mitigate interest‑rate, foreign‑exchange and credit risks through hedging and risk‑management strategies.
• Coordinate with lenders and legal counsel on LMA documentation for debt facilities.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes to anticipate financial impacts.
• Provide senior management with risk assessments, investment strategies and capital‑allocation advice.
• Assist the Treasury Director and CFO with balance‑sheet capital structuring and leverage‑ratio analysis.
• Analyse covenants and develop remediation plans for group debt.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a tier‑1 bank or corporation, preferably with GCC exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or economics; MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA or ACCA mandatory.
• Proven expertise in financial risk management, capital‑structure optimisation and debt/equity instruments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for listed companies, including KYC and AML.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Financial risk management (interest‑rate, FX, credit).
• Debt and equity structuring (Sukuk, private placement, syndication, bilateral, bridge, club, bond issuance, IPO).
• Regulatory compliance (KYC, AML).
• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems – preferably SAP.
• LMA documentation handling.
