Treasury Specialist – Cash & Liquidity Management (45‑day Contract)

About the role

We are recruiting a Treasury Specialist on a 45‑day contract for a financial services client in Qatar. The role is business‑as‑usual, focusing on cash and liquidity management, and is expected to deliver immediate value from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash and liquidity operations, including forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor bank account positions and support cash‑flow optimisation.
• Assist with liquidity risk management in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Perform treasury reconciliations, month‑end reporting and related processes.
• Liaise with Finance, Risk, Compliance and external banking partners.
• Ensure treasury activities comply with sector‑specific regulations.
• Support ad‑hoc treasury projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in a Treasury function, preferably within financial services.
• Proven ability to work in a BAU environment with minimal ramp‑up time.
• Strong communication skills and experience working cross‑functionally.
• Available to start on short notice for an initial 45‑day engagement.
• Experience in the Qatar or GCC market is a plus, but not mandatory.
