UPS Technician – Electrical (Junior)

About the role

Responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and related power equipment. The role ensures work follows technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements while delivering high‑quality service and minimizing system downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.
• Source required accessories, materials, spare parts, and tools from the local market.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of UPS systems, batteries, and associated electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
• Install UPS systems, battery banks, and related accessories according to approved drawings and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare service reports, testing records, and commissioning documentation.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of UPS systems, battery banks, and power distribution equipment.
• Minimum three years of experience in UPS installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical safety practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of electrical measuring instruments and testing equipment.
