User Interface Designer (UI/UX) - Digital Banking

About the role

An experienced, hands-on UI/UX designer is sought to deliver digital banking experiences across mobile and desktop. The role translates established UX concepts and design systems into intuitive, consistent interfaces, working closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders and Delivery teams. It reports directly to the Design Lead in the Center of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences and high-fidelity interfaces for mobile and desktop applications.
• Apply design systems and corporate brand guidelines consistently across products and platforms.
• Contribute to the design system, including reusable components, patterns and interaction standards.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and final UI designs in Figma.
• Ensure consistent experiences across screen sizes and platforms.
• Work with product owners, stakeholders and delivery teams on requirements, design challenges and implementation.
• Review implemented designs against approved UX, UI, brand and design-system standards.
• Facilitate design reviews and stakeholder sessions, and raise design, requirement or delivery issues early.
• Support the creation and review of UX copy in English and Arabic.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience designing mobile apps, web platforms and responsive digital experiences.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of user-centered design, UX methodologies, information architecture, interaction design and usability.
• Experience with established design systems and component libraries.
• Experience in banking, financial services or similar regulated environments is preferred.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and component-based design.
• User research, usability testing and design validation.
• English and Arabic, including reviewing and refining UX copy; UX writing experience is an advantage.
