Vaccination Consultant – Public Health Specialist

About the role

The Vaccination Consultant acts as the subject‑matter expert for vaccination and immunisation initiatives within public‑health projects, guiding strategy, compliance and stakeholder engagement to improve vaccine coverage and health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and recommend vaccination strategies, frameworks and implementation plans aligned with project and public‑health objectives.
• Support design and execution of immunisation campaigns and vaccination initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve vaccination coverage and program effectiveness.
• Provide expert advice on vaccination policies, guidelines and best practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and international standards.
• Assist project teams in interpreting and implementing immunisation‑related regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, public‑health agencies, government authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate program delivery.
• Represent the organisation as the vaccination SME in meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Monitor vaccination coverage, uptake rates and performance indicators; analyse data and prepare reports, dashboards and recommendations.
• Support public‑health education and awareness initiatives, contributing to communication strategies that boost vaccine confidence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, Immunology or a related field (Master’s preferred; MD an advantage).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in public‑health, immunisation programmes or vaccination initiatives.
• Proven experience planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting vaccination programmes.
• Experience working with government entities, healthcare organisations or large‑scale public‑health projects, preferably in the GCC or regional context.
