V.I.E Environmental Officer – Construction Site (18 months)

About the role

Join Technip Energies as a V.I.E Environmental Officer, working on‑site with the environment management team at construction sites (W9 and camps). You will support daily environmental operations, monitoring, and reporting over an 18‑month fixed‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with composting activities: load/unload food waste, dry matter and compost, conduct maturity tests and record quantities.
• Perform daily observation rounds and contribute to weekly walkthroughs with the company.
• Support on‑site dust measurements and noise monitoring, handling the respective equipment and reporting results.
• Conduct SDS checks using in‑house Globally Harmonized System software.
• In upcoming months, carry out daily dewatering water analysis (pH, chlorine, temperature, etc.).
• Track energy and fuel consumption monthly using Excel.
• Maintain the daily observation register.
• Participate in bi‑weekly housekeeping campaigns and annual environmental communication events (Environment Day, Clean Desert Day, Clean Beach Day).

Required profile

• Master’s or engineering degree in Environmental Sciences.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene and/or HSE management systems.
• Professional level of English.
• Relevant experience in the environmental field.
• Ability to understand construction site operations and challenges.
• Physical strength to handle composters and measurement instruments.
• Driving licence held or ability to obtain one.
