Waiter/Waitress Internship – Hospitality Experience

About the role

Every guest experience in our restaurants and lounges tells a story, and as a Waiter/Waitress Intern at MGallery Alwadi Hotel Doha you will help bring that story to life. You will support the Food & Beverage team in delivering warm, personalized and memorable service that reflects the brand’s elegance and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage team in daily operations across restaurants, bars and events.
• Support service during breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Prepare tables, mise‑en‑place and service areas to brand standards before each shift.
• Greet and engage with guests, handling requests attentively and applying upselling techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations and timely service.
• Observe proper handling of food, beverages and equipment in line with hygiene standards.
• Support the team during themed nights, special promotions and other events.
• Provide feedback and share ideas for improving service and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing studies in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
• Strong interest in Food & Beverage operations and guest service.
• Positive attitude, well‑groomed appearance and team spirit.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
