About the role
Anabolic Mechanics is seeking a skilled 3D Modeling & 3D Printer Operator to join our on‑site team in Doha. You will take concepts from digital models through to physical prototypes, handling the full additive manufacturing workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models for prototyping and production.
- Prepare models for printing, including slicing and printer setup.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain 3D printers, performing calibrations and basic repairs.
- Troubleshoot failed prints, improve print quality, and perform post‑processing.
- Support rapid prototyping and product development activities.
Required profile
- Experience with 3D modeling/CAD software and operating 3D printers.
- Good understanding of slicing software and 3D printing materials.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple print jobs.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Required skills
- 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Blender, Rhino).
- Slicing software knowledge.
- FDM/FFF 3D printing operation.
- Printer calibration, setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Post‑processing and finishing of printed components.
