About the role
We are looking for a motivated 3rd Engineer to join our vessel crew. In this position you will support the safe and efficient operation of the ship’s propulsion and auxiliary systems, working closely with senior engineers and the deck team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of main engines, generators and related machinery.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing minor mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
- Participate in safety drills, environmental compliance checks and emergency response procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and ensure records are up‑to‑date.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support continuous improvement of vessel performance.
Required profile
- Basic understanding of marine engineering principles and shipboard operations.
- Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and develop technical expertise.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow strict safety protocols.
- Willingness to work on board a vessel for extended periods.
