About the role
The Account Manager – GDS Systems will lead the management of enterprise and corporate customer relationships, driving growth of Global Distribution System (GDS) solutions. You will identify new business opportunities, develop account strategies and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that meet client needs.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise and corporate customers.
- Identify new business opportunities for GDS systems.
- Develop account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contract documentation.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow‑ups and support.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Support negotiation and closure of business opportunities.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within GDS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with GDS platforms such as Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer management and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and business priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Qatar market experience and customer network is an advantage.
