Account Manager

About the role

An advertising agency is looking for an Account Manager who will liaise with clients, oversee their marketing and advertising campaigns and coordinate the work of the media, creative and research teams. The role also covers reporting, budget control, invoicing and new business pitches.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients to discuss their advertising needs, keep regular senior-level contact and pass on client feedback to internal teams.
• Oversee day-to-day campaign management, collaborate with colleagues to develop campaigns within the client's brief and budget, and present ideas, strategies and budgets to clients.
• Lead the team, brief the operations team on campaign objectives and align marketing strategies with client business goals.
• Generate reports on campaign activity and progress, monitor campaign effectiveness and give actionable insights for improvement.
• Manage online and offline campaign budgets, handle client invoicing and ensure costs stay within agreed limits.
• Present creative work to clients for approval and help them modify it as needed.
• Take part in pitches with other agency staff to win new business and expand client portfolios.
• Handle administrative tasks related to client accounts and campaigns, and attend meetings to run campaigns smoothly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in management, marketing or advertising.
• Excellent written and oral communication, especially when presenting to clients.
• Strong team management skills and the ability to lead in a busy team.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
