Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Department, supporting operational growth and financial management within the travel and tours industry. The role is pivotal for accurate reporting, compliance, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, reports, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and complex accounting transactions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing strategic insights for management decision‑making.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
• Mentor junior accounting staff, enhance internal controls, and improve financial processes to support operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Must be an Arabic speaker.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
