About the role
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role also supports payroll processing and inter‑company transaction recording.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in line with relevant standards.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations, identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Analyze financial data to spot trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely salary disbursement and tax compliance.
- Record inter‑company transactions.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Commerce (or any Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field).
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an advantage.
- Open to GCC nationals, Indian or Sri Lankan candidates.
Required skills
- QuickBooks accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
