Accounts Receivable Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to support the finance function at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. You will play a key part in processing payments, handling cash, and ensuring accurate financial records while delivering excellent service to students, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments for tuition, activities, events, and field trips.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records, including receipts, invoices, deposit slips, and collection reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Monitor outstanding fees, issue reminders, and support fee collection.
• Generate daily transaction summaries and revenue reports for the Finance Manager.
• Process refunds accurately and manage fee‑related email enquiries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and Qatar financial regulations regarding cash handling and data confidentiality.
• Collaborate with administrative staff, teachers, and school leadership to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, cashiering, or accounts receivable.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage high‑volume workloads.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic (essential).
• Experience in an educational setting and knowledge of Qatar financial regulations are desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
