Accounts Receivable Assistant

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to support the finance function at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. You will play a key role in processing tuition and activity payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent service to students, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments for tuition, extracurricular activities, events, and field trips.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial documentation, including receipts, invoices, deposit slips, and collection reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Monitor outstanding fees, issue reminders, and support fee collection efforts.
• Generate daily transaction summaries and revenue reports for the Finance Manager.
• Process refunds and handle fee‑related email enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and Qatar financial regulations regarding cash handling and data confidentiality.
• Collaborate with administrative staff, teachers, and school leadership to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, cashiering, or accounts receivable.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage a high‑volume workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Experience in an educational setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of Qatar financial regulations and cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic (essential).

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
