AGE Electrical Supervisor

About the role

The AGE Electrical Supervisor reports to the Mechanical Workshop Controller and leads detailed maintenance activities within the Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) bay. This role ensures airworthiness by supervising electrical and electronic work, delegating tasks, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake detailed maintenance, inspection and supervision of electrical components in the AGE bay, ensuring compliance with approved technical information.
• Resolve faults, manage configuration, and raise work cards for any issues discovered during maintenance.
• Maintain personal and team task authorisation in line with regulatory and AMC requirements.
• Provide guidance, performance reviews and on‑the‑job training to team members, and sign off competency assessments.
• Report progress against delivery targets and ensure all Part 145 activities are properly documented.

Required profile

• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship (City & Guilds 2675/2661 or equivalent) in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in an aerospace or related maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of aviation safety standards, ITAR, and human‑factors error management.
