Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) – UC-35 Citation – Al Udeid, Qatar

About the role

We are seeking a certified Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to maintain and service UC‑35 Cessna Citation aircraft at Al Udeid, Qatar. The role involves ensuring the aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for launch and recovery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operational checks on repaired or modified systems to verify proper function.
• Execute quality maintenance in line with FAA regulations, OEM guidelines, and technical orders.
• Repair and replace structural components such as wings, fuselage, landing gear, and flight control surfaces.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines, APU, hydraulic, pneumatic, anti‑icing, ventilation and heating systems.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical orders to determine repair methods.
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and test rigs to conduct repairs and engine runs.
• Perform miscellaneous servicing tasks including flushing, cleaning, greasing, and brake checks.

Required profile

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• At least three years recent experience maintaining the UC‑35 or similar aircraft.
• Ability to become qualified for engine runs on the assigned type.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to a changing environment.
