Aircraft Mechanic - Safety & Bottle Shop (Cabin Workshop)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to join the Cabin Workshops team in Doha, focusing on Safety and Bottle systems. The role involves maintaining and repairing safety equipment such as slides, rafts, life vests, and bottle‑type fire‑extinguishing systems in accordance with Qatar Airways technical data and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance tasks following approved technical data, QR standards and PART‑145 requirements.
• Complete assigned work within defined timeframes while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Operate workshop tools and equipment to service safety and bottle components.
• Interpret technical information and work independently under normal conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company health‑and‑safety policies and keep the team informed of any safety issues.
• Document work performed and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational/Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Hands‑on experience (2‑3 years) with slide/raft, life‑vest and survival‑kit assemblies.
• Experience (2‑3 years) with bottle‑type reservoir assemblies, fire extinguishers and Hazmat handling.
