Application Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our omni‑channel banking platforms, including branch, mobile, retail internet and corporate internet banking. You will be the first line of defense for production incidents, monitoring, and release validation, working closely with development, infrastructure and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day production support, manage BAU requests and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Monitor application health using APM tools, analyze logs, detect anomalies and perform preliminary root‑cause analysis.
• Support deployments and releases, validate applications post‑deployment and assist change‑management activities.
• Participate in patch management, disaster‑recovery drills, database upgrades and infrastructure maintenance validation.
• Conduct technical troubleshooting: SQL data validation, Linux server issues, Java log review, API and micro‑service investigations.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, DBAs and business users; take part in Agile ceremonies.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing monitoring, automating processes and maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support or Application Operations.
• Prior experience with banking or financial applications is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration.
• Understanding of Java application logs.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs and micro‑services architectures.
