Architect – International Banking & Trade Finance

About the role

The Architect will support the bank’s international expansion and cross‑border initiatives, focusing on trade finance, corporate banking and global transaction services. The role combines market assessment, financial analysis and transformation delivery to shape the bank’s operating model and product platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market assessments, analyse trade data, investment flows and identify commercial opportunities.
• Develop financial models, business cases and options analyses for new products and platforms.
• Gather requirements, map processes, perform gap analysis and document target operating models.
• Support implementation of transformation programmes, including testing, operational readiness and change management.
• Prepare dashboards, management reports and executive presentations for decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in corporate banking, global transaction banking, trade finance, international banking or strategy.
• Proven track record supporting international expansion, cross‑border banking or market‑entry projects.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills across business, technology, risk, legal and finance functions.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and Arabic; Mandarin or Korean a plus.
