Architectural Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Architectural Design Engineer to join our project team in Qatar. The role involves leading architectural design, planning and detailing for major building and infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, detailed designs, construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate design deliverables with structural, MEP and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure all designs meet Qatar construction standards, regulations and authority requirements.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and client/authority communications.
• Support BIM workflow implementation and multidisciplinary coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design projects.
• Proven experience with architectural consultancy or design firms.
• UPDA/MMUP Grade A approval is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar construction standards and authority procedures.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other BIM/design tools.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
