About the role
The Assistant Director Commercial & Project Management will lead the commercial strategy for both existing and new telecom and ICT projects, ensuring they meet Ooredoo's high standards of excellence. This senior position drives bid development, proposal pricing, and portfolio management while fostering best practices across the Business Solutions Division.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all commercial aspects of large‑scale Telco and ICT projects, from bid creation to contract execution.
- Develop compelling commercial bids and proposals for B2B customers across multiple segments.
- Manage a portfolio of complex “Mega Projects,” coordinating technical, commercial, and operational components.
- Establish and enforce best practices in project and commercial management, acting as a knowledge hub for the B2B sector.
- Enhance the technical capabilities of project managers to align with Ooredoo’s product and business objectives.
- Produce high‑quality RFx responses, manage solution pricing, and ensure competitive market positioning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing progress reports and risk mitigation strategies.
Required profile
- Proven expertise in large‑scale telecom and ICT projects.
- Strong background in bid and contract management, proposal pricing, and resource management.
- Demonstrated commercial ownership and ability to drive program success.
- Experience working in B2B telecom environments and delivering complex solutions.
