Assistant Manager, Engineering Technical Services

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Engineering Technical Services is accountable for the technical quality, integrity and assurance of engineering design during the FEED and EPIC stages of a major offshore sustainability project. The role leads a multi‑discipline engineering team to deliver offshore facilities safely, cost‑effectively and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi‑discipline engineering team responsible for all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, corporate standards and technical assurance processes.
• Interface closely with project management, technical authorities and engineering contractors to ensure successful delivery of complex offshore facilities.
• Oversee engineering governance, management of technical deviations and engineering risk throughout FEED and EPC/EPIC phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of post‑graduate experience in the oil and gas industry, including significant FEED and EPC/EPIC engineering on major offshore developments.
• At least 8 years in senior engineering leadership positions such as Engineering Manager, Project Engineering Manager or Head of Technical Services.
• Proven experience leading engineering activities for multi‑billion‑dollar offshore oil and gas projects, both greenfield and brownfield.

Required skills

• Offshore facilities engineering, including platforms, high‑pressure gas systems, compression facilities, jackets, topsides, bridge‑linked platforms, pipelines and risers.
• Technical assurance and engineering governance.
• Engineering risk management and management of technical deviations.
