Assistant Manager – Housekeeping (Doha)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Housekeeping supports daily operations across housekeeping, laundry and the health club at St. Regis Doha. The role ensures guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to brand standards while maintaining budgetary controls.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise housekeeping staff, schedule shifts, and monitor attendance using the Labor Management System.
• Conduct room inspections, enforce corrective actions, and coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering for timely status updates.
• Manage inventory of linens, supplies, and uniforms, and oversee ordering to maintain adequate stock.
• Implement loss‑prevention procedures and oversee lost‑and‑found handling.
• Handle guest complaints, review comment cards, and coach staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Support HR activities including training, performance appraisals, payroll administration, and disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years housekeeping experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and loss‑prevention policies.
