Assistant Manager – People Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, People Development will support the overall learning and talent development function across all Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North assets. This role combines strong organisational, administrative and engagement skills to drive a culture of continuous learning within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, record, report and review all learning and development materials, resources and records.
• Manage New Team Member Orientation, from enrolment to facilitation and ongoing engagement.
• Coordinate with departmental trainers, collect their needs and ensure timely submission of training reports.
• Support functional Program Leads in scheduling training, refreshers and other development activities.
• Drive grooming standards and conduct learning needs analysis to create the annual training plan.
• Assist with other learning, quality programmes and initiatives across the assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Hospitality Management, People Development or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in People Development, Training or HR, preferably in a similar hospitality role.
• Proven experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and developing annual training plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills at all organisational levels.
• Strong organisational, administrative and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
