Assistant Vice President – Financial Budgeting & Business Planning

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will lead the budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities for QNB’s domestic and international operations. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial planning, monitoring performance, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in leading the annual budgeting process for all divisions and departments.
• Maintain consistent business‑planning, budgeting and review procedures throughout the Group.
• Prepare and present MIS reports to senior management and the Board on schedule.
• Implement KPIs and best practices for financial budgeting and business planning.
• Coordinate with heads of divisions to execute the budgeting exercise and analyse major deviations.
• Liaise with the IT department to resolve budgetary reporting system requirements.
• Support internal and external customers by addressing product queries and ensuring service‑level agreements are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial budgeting, forecasting and business planning within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to promote cost consciousness, efficiency and productivity.
