Bakery Commis – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Bakery Commis supports the Bakery & Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar, preparing a range of breads, pastries, cakes and desserts for guests and events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery items according to approved recipes, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, texture, portioning and presentation.
• Perform mixing, baking, decorating, finishing and other production processes while monitoring daily production requirements.
• Minimize food waste, control portions and costs, and maintain bakery equipment, reporting any defects.
• Assist the Bakery & Pastry Chef during daily operations, functions and special events.

Required profile

• Experience in a luxury restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
• Background in French pastry is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong attention to detail.
