Barista – Café Service in Doha

About the role

Join our café team in Doha, preparing and serving high‑quality espresso‑based drinks, specialty coffees, teas and cold beverages while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, specialty coffees, teas and cold beverages to café standards.
• Greet customers, take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
• Operate, clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic work area in line with Qatar Ministry of Public Health regulations.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups and supplies, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Support preparation of light snacks, pastries and sandwiches when required.
• Contribute to special events, exhibitions and university functions on campus.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of barista or café/hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming and basic latte art.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts.
• Valid Food Handler’s Health Card or willingness to obtain one.
