About the role

The Beach Guru ensures the smooth operation of the beach and recreational areas at Banana Island Resort Doha, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury, alcohol‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all Recreation Department SOPs and task lists.
• Organise, clean and maintain the entire recreation area, back‑office spaces and equipment.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties as assigned.
• Manage towel inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and laundry processes run efficiently.
• Provide amenities services to club and hotel guests in line with SOPs.
• Support other hotel departments with lateral service and overnight cleaning when required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work area and ensure equipment is stored securely.
• Participate in team projects and collaborate with other departments.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to excellent customer service and professional conduct on and off duty.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous and responsive to guest requests.
• Good knowledge of recreation activities, sports and leisure equipment offered by the resort.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Team‑player attitude with a willingness to assist across departments.
