BMS Technician – Building Automation & HVAC

About the role

A to Z Company is seeking experienced BMS Technicians to support facility management and building automation projects across Qatar. The role covers installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission BMS systems for HVAC, lighting, and other building services.
• Wire sensors, actuators, controllers, and control panels.
• Perform system testing, functional verification, and commissioning.
• Monitor HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, chillers, ventilation) via BMS, track alarms and trends, and maintain operation logs.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in BMS and HVAC systems, including DDC panels, sensors, and wiring.
• Work with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, Instrumentation, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a BMS Technician, preferably with Gulf experience.
• Background in facility management or commercial building maintenance is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BMS systems and HVAC controls.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and DDC systems.
• Proficient troubleshooting and technical reporting abilities.
