Business Analyst – International Expansion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our bank’s strategic expansion across China and South Korea. The role will involve market research, business case development, and designing operating models to grow Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and FDI flows.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities in China and South Korea.
• Analyze international banking trends, trade corridors, FDI flows and competitive landscapes.
• Evaluate market entry opportunities, client segments and strategic partnerships.
• Develop business cases with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Support implementation of international expansion and connectivity strategy.
• Gather and document business requirements from Corporate Banking, GTB, Product, Operations, Risk and Strategy teams.
• Design Target Operating Models and international business operating frameworks.
• Analyze current processes and recommend improvements for international growth.
• Coordinate with internal units and external stakeholders, including regulators and multinational corporations.
• Prepare executive presentations, governance reporting and facilitate cross‑functional workshops.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong background in market assessment, business case development and operating model design.
• Experience working on international expansion projects, preferably in Asia.
• Ability to work with senior business leaders and cross‑functional teams.
