Business Development Executive – Commission Only

About the role

The Business Development Executive will expand Delight Events' client base and market presence in Doha, Qatar. This commission‑only, on‑site contract focuses on identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building relationships within the events and corporate sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct meetings and presentations, understand client needs, and propose suitable event solutions.
• Maintain an organized pipeline, manage follow‑ups, and support negotiation and closing of agreements.
• Report regularly on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback to refine strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or client‑facing roles, preferably in events, hospitality or marketing.
• Strong account management skills, able to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and goal‑oriented, comfortable working on a commission‑only basis.
• Familiarity with the Doha/Qatar market and local business practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools to track leads and client interactions.
• Competence in basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
