Business Development Manager – Education Services

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the pursuit of education services opportunities across the Middle East, working closely with account managers, sales, presales and channel partners. The role focuses on building a robust pipeline, qualifying leads, and closing deals to grow revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect within existing accounts and generate new education solutions to drive attach business and upsell revenue.
• Manage and grow the education sales pipeline, ensuring at least 85% utilization of training credits before expiry.
• Develop consultative relationships with clients up to IT management level, understanding their unique education needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development.

Required profile

• University or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in specialty sales or business development, with a proven record of meeting increasing quotas.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse business customers and senior‑level stakeholders.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of product, service and solution differentiators.
• Specialized technical product/service knowledge applied to lead screening and qualification.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills to close profitable deals.
• Solid communication and presentation abilities at the manager level within IT.
