Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a high‑caliber Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth and oversee construction projects for Nebras Energy across the GCC, EMEA, Americas and APAC. Based in Doha, you will drive new power and water asset opportunities, manage full‑scale project pipelines and build partnerships with developers and government bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new power and water asset opportunities worldwide.
• Coordinate site construction activities with the Head of Construction, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Provide weekly progress updates, strategic plans, technical analyses and financial impact reports to senior leadership.
• Lead contract and technical negotiations with contractors, developers and joint‑venture partners.
• Review EPC contractor reports, highlight major issues and conduct market trend research.
• Present technical feasibility studies, assess project risks and collaborate with M&A and Finance teams.
• Develop department strategy, manage the annual budget and monitor financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Economics.
• Minimum 8 years of corporate growth and asset development experience in large global companies.
• Deep understanding of power, energy, water utilities and construction sectors.
• At least 3 years in leadership or department‑management roles.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict‑resolution and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar, GCC and global market business cultures.
