About the role
Deloitte is seeking a Qatari national to join its Business Tax team as an intern. This role offers hands‑on experience with Qatar income tax regulations and exposure to corporate tax compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and related documentation.
- Conduct research on Qatar tax laws, international tax treaties and regulatory updates.
- Support senior tax professionals in analyzing financial statements for tax implications and responding to tax authority audits.
- Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and research abilities.
- Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
- Qatari national or a candidate with a Qatari mother.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
