CAD Operator – Gerber AccuMark (Qatar)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CAD Operator specialized in Gerber AccuMark to join our garment manufacturing team in Qatar. The role involves creating accurate patterns, grading sizes, and preparing efficient marker layouts to support high-quality apparel production.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify garment patterns using Gerber AccuMark.
• Perform pattern grading according to size specifications.
• Prepare marker layouts that maximize fabric utilization and efficiency.
• Calculate fabric consumption and contribute to cost optimisation.
• Digitise, edit and maintain pattern libraries.
• Coordinate with sampling, production and quality teams to ensure accurate pattern execution.
• Review and correct patterns before production and troubleshoot any issues.
• Maintain up-to-date CAD files and technical data.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Operator using Gerber AccuMark.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, pattern grading, marker making, fabric consumption and marker efficiency.
• Good understanding of the garment manufacturing process, preferably in woven or knit garments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and measurement charts.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
