CAMO Engineer – Rotary Wing

About the role

The CAMO Engineer – Rotary Wing will support the technical organisation in maintaining aircraft airworthiness and ensuring optimal availability of the fleet. Working closely with system engineers and senior management, the role focuses on continuous airworthiness and the effective execution of maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) recommendations and monitor their effectiveness.
• Liaise with OEMs and equipment manufacturers to resolve queries related to the maintenance programme.
• Plan maintenance checks in accordance with approved manufacturer recommendations.
• Negotiate and coordinate third‑party maintenance with MROs, including documentation and invoice verification.
• Review technical publications such as AAR, Service Bulletins and Service Letters.
• Administer and manage retrofit programmes.
• Coordinate layover activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support to the Senior Manager CAMO and Vice President Technical.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent apprenticeship/Part‑66 licence.
• Minimum six years of experience as a Planning, Support or CAMO Engineer in a helicopter CAMO environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to make clear, rational decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with maintenance management systems such as Trax or AMOS.
