Captain – Restaurant Service Lead

About the role

As a Captain at Radisson Hotel Group, you will lead the restaurant service team to deliver consistent, high‑quality guest experiences. You will balance hands‑on table service with supervisory duties, ensuring smooth operations throughout the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the service team to maintain service standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive table service when needed.
• Guide guests on food and beverage selections.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and outlet staff for timely service.
• Monitor cleanliness, setup, and ambiance of the outlet.
• Address guest requests, resolve concerns, and handle escalated issues promptly.
• Train, coach, and motivate service staff.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel guidelines.
• Assist with inventory, stock control, and daily operational reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar restaurant or bar role.
• Experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food‑and‑beverage operations and guest relations.
• Experience with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Proficiency with POS systems.
