Cargo Inventory Management Specialist

About the role

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a Cargo Inventory Management Specialist to lead revenue management (RM) strategies across its network. The role supports 24/7 operations, analyses network performance, and drives optimisation initiatives that enhance profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute RM strategies for the cargo inventory team on the QR network.
• Analyse flight profiling, booking trends, over‑booking levels and backlog to assess capacity and inventory control.
• Communicate with commercial teams to maximise revenue contribution and improve route profitability.
• Escalate issues related to rejected bookings, SLA delays, ULD requests and excess free‑sales mail.
• Provide inputs to the Cargo Inventory Planning and Analytics teams for long‑term optimisation and threshold adjustments.
• Support the Cargo Inventory Management Manager with compliance reporting and strategy adjustments.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cargo or logistics environments.
• Ability to work on roster duty and support continuous operations.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with commercial and operational departments.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple optimisation initiatives simultaneously.
